What is HOSA?
HOSA: Future Health Professionals is the premier organization for student leaders pursuing careers in the healthcare industry. HOSA’s two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.

Goals of HOSA ​

HOSA History
HOSA was officially organized at a constitutional convention held in Arlington, Texas in 1976. Before the HOSA we know today, it was focused on limited supportive nursing, dental, medical and related occupations programs, as well as organized pre-technical programs in health careers approved by a State Department of Education.

OK HOSA State Officers 2025-2026
HOSA State Officers should be available, as necessary, to promote HOSA in their state and fulfill their duties as state officers for the time that they are in office. These individuals went through a rigorous selection process which included an application, interview, cold reading, written thank you note sample, knowledge test, video submission and finally were voted on by their peers.
